Announcements :

The next performances for the blind will be Thursday, July 10 ("Flaming Guns of the Purple Sage")and Thursday, September 25 ("Defying Gravity"). Please save these dates because we will need drivers. Look for new flags on the street lamps in Springfield, one of which will be sponsored by the Springfield Lions. Lion Don Dauser showed an example at the June 25 meeting. The Board of Directors has voted to award a Melvin Jones Fellowship in memory of Susan McLear as part of its CSFII pledge.

Activities :

Past International Director Robert W. Moore and PDG Elspeth Moore were guests of honor June 25. PID Bob installed the officers for 2008-2009. Board Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. July 16 and August 13 at the Lions Eye Bank of NJ, 841 Mountain Ave., Springfield
